Are there any products out there for this purpose meant for Alienware laptops?

Currently I use two pieces of acetate (8x11 transparencies) so I can still see the pretty keyboard (I use external keyboard).

I was thinking of getting a piece of acrylic and cutting it to size. Main concern is obviously to allow the colors to be seen.

Am I in an extreme minority with this thought or do other people share the same dilemma?

Thing is I eat a lot around my computer, I have a dog so more dust / small hair and I have a ceiling fan which tosses stuff around.

    what's definition of long thread?

doesn't this one have the potential?

actually eating really isn't an issue as I'm not like my dog....but you never know when some random particle might fly onto the keyboard.

Hey at least you don't have 3 dogs and 4 cats...

I clean my machines daily. Keeps them in top shape with excellent temps.

Lol it's actually not as bad as it sounds. Two are small breeds and one is a medium laid back pooch. The cats, well, they go where the food takes them.
