I left my M17X on battery power, with the lid closed, over night. I just turned it on to find that the touch sensative strip and the Caps, Scr and Num Lock lights aren't lighting up. I've restarted the computer and have it plugged in. Help?
note: I'm running W7.

turned on while the lid was closed yes? I could have gotten pretty hot around the touch buttons.
I don't own the M17x tho, hope somebody can help you -
I had the led strip stop working once also, but it came right up on the next reboot. The lights on it wouldn't even light up.
It was after I closed the lid and moved it, so I am thinking it was something to do with the power management. I am not at home right now, but I think there might be a setting for it in the AlienFX software. -
Same thing happened to me...Took 2 reboots to get it back to working. I modified the power management settings and fixed it so that when I close my lid nothing happens.
