    Touchpad disables itself for a second when I use keyboard

    Title explains it all. When I type or alt_tab out of something my touchpad stops working for like a second! Why is this?

    Can I fix it?

    there was a thread for this a while ago. i think you need the newest synaptics drivers, and then you can move around a slider to adjust this. it's supposed to prevent accidental scrolling while typing.

    Yeah lower the sensitivity on the palm rest, it's under touchpad properties under mouse properties or something. I had the same problem.
