    Sorry if this is a repeat.. i have tried to use the search function..but its crap^^

    Anywayy my m15x used to auto turn the touchpad off when the usb mouse was plugged in...now it doesnt.

    I would appreciate any information you could pass to me to fix this please.

    Launch Command Center, Select Alien Touch.

    There is a check box to enable/disable that feature.

    there is also a way to disable it if you used the selective startup by unchecking the touchpad driver, when the computer first starts up

    Hum.. my alien command centre only has fx lighting and fussion power..is there an up-to-date version of command centre i dont have?

    yeah, probably, if you updated your Synaptics driver, it could've fubar'd the whole process too.

    the option is also on the last tab of the Synaptics control panel, to disable touchpad when an external pointing device is attached. if it's not there, you probably inadvertently over-wrote the drivers that actually perform the function.

    As hard as we all tried, noone could quite get it to work on any version other than what was supplied to us from AW. luckily, that version is 32-bit and 64-bit (it was published before they supported 64-bit)... install it from your support disk if you're uncertain... be sure to uninstall the current version first.
