    Hello all,

I have a m15x and am having difficulties connecting the Interlink ExpressCard Media Remote for Bluetooth. I know my bluetooth is on because the system will recognize other bluetooth enabled items. For whatever reason the remote doesn't seem to be able to be located, even after holding down the up/down volumn buttons for 5 seconds as instructed. I was wondering if anyone else had troubles with this and if so how did you resolve it? Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

    Hi hapiface
i didnt have a remote but if its bluetooth it should automatically find it.
did you have to load software for the remote or express card. if so you might need to do a reboot for it to register.
when you say you was told to hold down the volume button for 5 seconds, who told you this? im sure your meant to hold down the bluetooth touch control next to the volume.
hopefully someone else that knows what they are talking about will be along soon to help you out.

The other idea is the blue tooth device is already lock. I have 3 laptops that all use the same type Mouse and keyboard but I have 3 Mouse and keyboards. and One mouse or keyboard will not work on the other computer.

I have 3 MX 5000 logitech mouse and Keyboards.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't have to load any software for either the bluetooth or the remote, and the volumn buttoms I was speaking of are the ones on the remote itself(which the manufacturer says to hold down to make it able to be found). AtolSammeek, is there any way to tell if it is locked out? I have never connected the remote to anything else. Gshemar, when pushed in the remote sticks out about a half inch.

    thanks again everyone!

Did you happen to update your bluetooth drivers (via directly or through Windows Update?) I know I wasn't able to use bluetooth after updating the bluetooth drivers for some reason so I had to rollback the drivers I had previously.
