    Hey I've posted a few questions on here before and this should be the last one. I bought an M15X one month ago and just bought an external 27 inchmonitor. It works great and the HDMI DVI connector works perfectly but is there anyway to turn on the laptop from some kind of remote control or keyboard or even the mouse because I want to just leave the laptop in the corner and handle it as little as possible. Not a big deal but it would be more convenient. Other than that the laptop's sweet.

    just turn it to sleep. and use a wireless keyboard and/or mouse to wake it.

    if you want to turn your computer into a media center, this comes in handy;
    logitech - diNovo Mini

    as far as i know, it is possible to turn your computer on even when it is in "shut-down" state via a special chip. the easiest way to acquire these computer is from looking at a "Centrino vPro" logo.

    I am having trouble finding the option in windows which lets you come out of sleep with your keyboard or mouse. I still have to press the little alienhead button.

    Thanks for looking. I'm trying to look for those menus but I'm not finding it. I think thats for XP or a different type of keyboard. Oh well.

    yeah, those instructions are for XP... for Vista, get to device manager through control panel > system > Device Manager (under "tasks" on the left)
