    UK M15X now £60 CHEAPER?

    Hi, just thought I would let everyone know. The price drop is from the GTX 260M upgrade which is now only £60 instead of £120. I wounder if this suggests anything ominous. hmmm.....

    Dell always gradually reduce the cost of their systems. Expensive when first released, sometimes even go up a little bit early on due to demand, then usually start slowly dropping over the coming months. Pretty standard.

    Its from www.dmxdimension.com they seem to always have all the e value codes of the Alienwares so you always get a better price

    Oh and theres an advert that keeps coming up on NBR that points to the same config.

    wow.... i am actually tempted to get that now was going to wait for the refresh of the m17x .?

    why do they let you choose the fx colours cant you change them all?

    You can change them using the inbuilt command center software any time you want, or alternatively turn the flashy LED's off. The choice when you order is just what it's pre-set to when you turn it on the first time.

    yeah i thought that, for me the only game changer is the cpu 6mb prefer the 8mb cache but that pushes it to stupid money is there a huge difference between the 1.73 and the 1.6?

    also the Power button and the alienhead that is on the front of the lid to the System is fixed to that color that you pick you can not change that color only time it changes is when its on battery power and the power gets low then it turns greenish yello but if you pick red then that light will always stay read if you pick blue same goes for that it will always stay blue

    from what i have read and heard ovder the past few days the I7- 720 and 820 you really wont notice a difrance in it becacuse there are only a few games out there that will use all four cores

    I am ordering M15x. And have to return the studio xps 16 when it arrives. I tried to cancel it when it was work in progress but Order status changed to in production next day.

    Just wondering if you can customize the number plate over the phone. There is no such option online.

    When ordering online there should be a setting for customizing the name plate...thats how mine was when i ordered.

    Says its just a generic engraving so it should just be your name but it also might just by the model of the laptop (M17x or M15x)
