    so i see th m17x is out in america any one have any idea of the release date and price of the m17x for the UK im looking for soemthign with MIN 2.1Ghz processor, 1GB RAM (upgrade my self) and 1 x 8800m (would upgrade later)

    so whctah the price would be for soemthing like that? £2000? less? im hoping something around £1500 and then i would consider getting one anything more then no chance

    if thats all the specs you want, would you not just get the m15x then? an extra 2.5lbs is not worth the small amount of extra screen.

    I'm not sure if you can get a single 8800m yet. It's only being offered in SLi like the Dell m1730.

    Pricing was pretty similar to the US for the m15x but they show the price with VAT which is 17.5% more than what you are actually paying for the system.

    For the specs you're getting, I'd probably go with the m15x too. You can always hook it up to a bigger monitor and be more portable for when you take it out.
