URGENT!!!! need to make a choice tonight

i'm really pressed for time with the dell offer of 300$ off the m15x ending tonight.
should i get it right now or wait till the start of february to see if they will have 5800 ati series cards????

and no i can't upgrade later

 

5800 more than likely won't be available until March.

 

correct .....confirmed also..get it now..save and do the 5 series later who knows maybe by then there will be better for cheaper

Well some people have already proven to be trustworthy so they dont need to post anything to confirm...

 

just wait til next year when a better notebook debuts

is the 5830 in the hp envy comparable to the gtx 260???

 

260M is technically better. the 4850 is similar to the 260M

i talked to a sale rep yesterday and he said i can't upgrade th card cause its soldered to the motherboard and i have to buy a new one with the card. is that true?
can anyone give a rough estimate about how much is would cost to upgrade to the 5870?

 

Look at Moos How to replace gpus video. You find it unture. The one Issue and it worry me some. Will the mother board have to be replaced for the 5870s. Eather by it need more power. Like the older m17x from geforce 8600 to geforce 9800. I had to change motherboards.
