    Hi All

Was told that this is the best place to go to with problems ;)

    Here it goes...

I have Alienware Area51M with 9700K and 2080. Tried to undervolt using just the AWCC and then the ThrottleStop. In bothscenarios been changing between -100 and -125 and the end result was lets say just about none... Having the AWCC fan setting for COOL with all iterations i was getting GPU at 50 and CPU between 65-77 playing COD:MW with all settings on MAX with RTX on. This temperatures have not changed at all. Not too sure if it is me doing something wrong as this is my first ever attempt at undervolting ANY machine... My aim is to decrese the temps a bit not to stress the components in longer run. If someone knows the issue or has same setup and knows what to do I'm happy to send via email some screenshots of my settings in all the apps.

    Many thanks!! :)

disabled first any undervolt on AWCC.

    Use Throttlestop to undervolt CPU.

As for the GPU use MSI Afterburner to undervolt.

    Good luck

    Hi.

    Thanks for replying.

One of the combinations was with awcc disabled and throttle stop used on CPU still with no positive outcome...

If your temps are only peaking at 77 I am curious why your pushing for more? It's possibly you just didn't win the silicone lottery when it comes to undervolting, but those temps are nothing to be worried about either. I don't even know how your keeping the GPU at 50c? I didn't even think that was possible with a load on the system.
