    Hi guys,

I recently got my m15x laptop from the depot having sent it in due to motherboard issues. I have Vista Ultimate 32 bit. It came back perfect, except one small thing.

In my Program Files, there is a 3D Mark 06 directory which is about 1.2 gb large and has the usual data files and .exe file. When I tried to run the 3D Mark 06 application in my Program Files, it came up with the error mesage

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropiate permissions to access the item."

I then tried to run it as an administrator, but it came up with the same error message. Given that I can't use this software and that it was clearly not intended for my use, I decided to uninstall it.

However, it does not come up in Programs and Features in Control Panel. I have heard that there is a way of doing it manually by using regedit, but my knowledge of this is hazy at the very least. I would appreciate any help that you might want to contribute.

    THanks

I would delete it, re-install it, then properly uninstall it.
