Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone else playing Unreal Tournament 3 was experiencing the same issues as me while using the 9750. Let me give you a brief summary of my specs:
Core 2 2.0 Ghz
4 Gb of RAM
2 Nvidia 8700 GTs in SLI
2 80Gb 7200RPM drives in a stripe
Now I'm inclined to say that I have more than enough requirements to meet the needs of the game, but it performs a little sketchy at times. The most noticeable problem I'm experiencing is that whenever I exit UT3, I get a little hazard symbol in the taskbar informing me that the Nvidia driver has stopped and has been recovered. This issue in itself isn't really a problem until you open another game and your desktop basically looses all your icons and changes a solid color. Also, when in game, I find that performance is good as long as you stick to a resolution of 1280 x 720, but graphics tend to distort and get jittery every now and then.
I am aware that there is a so called better driver (174 is the version I think), but I've tried it and found it to perform worse. I've downloaded the latest UT3 patch as well, and I almost want to say that the jittery performance and distortion in graphics every now and then got worse. Is there a solution???
Thanks,
Gabe

Well I will let you know my setup when I get back home. I have uninstalled UT3 and will not be able to re-install it until I return. I will try it out hopefully in a week and get back to you.
