The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm not happy with the Quad Core processor at the moment (see my various 100s of other posts related to Quad Core Stuttering), and I want to see if the system runs better/smoother with a dual core. Also since most of the games I run aren't Quad-Core compatible/optimized, it would be putting the laptop in the configuration I should have bought to begin with. I'll be keeping the Quad-Core for "later re-upgrade" or in the event of "warranty service" so I can pop it back in before sending it back to the mothership.
