I just bought a M17x (the laptop is in production), with 2 yr warranty + complete care. After reading this forum, I taught that I should take a 3 or 4 years warranty. The problem is that they refuse to upgrade the warranty... they want me to cancel the order and pass a new order.

I don't want to cancel because I had a one time deal that I won't get again...

Each time I call Dell, they transfert me to this person (in India) who is responsible for my order...

What can I do? Any hints?

You can extend your warranty at any time before the original warranty is up so i would not worry about it ...

I had dell cancel my order and try not to honor the promotions that were offered during the time I ordered, it took me alot of phone time and finding great sales rep who not only honored it but gave me the current offers and applied EPP for me.
