I believe its F10 upon booting .. Might depend on the machine your on as well..

If the partition is still there it should say something to the effect of hit such and such a key now for Alienrespawn...

Well, I installed windows 7 but for some reason it crapped out and keeps doing this annoying startup repair thing. So I wanted to use the alienrespawn 2.0 to fix it without having to delete all my files, anyways I don't really see that option upon booting up. ( I have the new m17x ) but the portion is there, I checked.

The problem is, I can't boot into windows right now so I cannot install that. ( the startup repair will not allow me to boot into windows ) is there an alternative method to do so perhaps in the bios or something?

Have you tried to boot into safe mode ? Maybe you can back up your files before hand if you had to format ..

Also the start up repair, are you telling windows to start normally ? as there is 2 options when the machine crashes and one would be launch start up repair and the other being start normally..

Not sure what happened to your OS but you may also want to try and put the Upgrade disc back in and try to repair it that way ...

I have 0 clue what you did or what went wrong without having the machine infront of me so thats all i have got for you off the top of my head...
