    Greetings, all.

I am going to migrate my AW17 to desktop gaming duty and had a few questions for anyone else that uses theirs this way.

I have the 120Hz screen/780M, so the iGPU is disabled.

I want to run with an UltraSharp screen via DisplayPort and external keyboard/mouse with the lid closed. Any idea if this is supported?

    Thanks.

Yes you can use the Laptop with the lid closed. Just make sure you make the appropriate changes in Power Options, so that the machine won't hibernate/sleep when you close the lid.
