I was wondering if it is possible to use hdmi on m11x to hook up to a large 1080 TV and be able to play games on 1080 full HD resolution or will the game be limited by the m11x 720 ability. Also when playing games connected to an external can I just turn off screen on M11x? Thanx

    You absolutely can.

I've been playing Bioshock in 1080p over HDMI while shutting off the Alienware's primary display.

I have also played the Supreme Commander 2 demo using dual display, primary on the m11x's screen and secondary on the 1080p HDTV.
