So this is my first attempt installing laptop video drivers. I have a m15x with a 8800gtx.

I d/l'ed driver 180.48 w/inf from laptopvideo2go. Uninstalled previous driver and restarted system. Installed new driver and restarted.

Now when I right click on my mouse I don't see my nvidia CP anymore. But when I check my display settings it tells me I'm using a the 8800gtx with forceware 180.48.

Can anyone tell me if I installed something wrong? How do I get back my nvidia CP?

    Thanks

Are you using regular 180.48? Some of the regular forceware drivers don't display the console for whatever reason. All the DOX versions I tried had it available.
