    What is the most current driver for the GeForce Go 7950 GTX w/512MB?

    and how do I tell what driver I currently have?

    right click on your desktop, go into the Nvidia control panel. you can find out there.

    as for the best driver, give Dox' v180.43 drivers a shot. you can find them on ltv2go.
