Hey guy just had a quick question.

I know this inormation is here in some form, I just havent been able to find it specifically.

Does updating to Vista SP2+ (Any updates including and beyond vista sp2) create any problems with the command center or any other Alienware specific apps?

Does Win 7 cause any problems with Command center or any other apps?

My idea was to either push Vista to its highest update (m17x came with sp1 vista 64 bit) OR reinstall win 7 RC.

I liked win 7 RC on my desktop, I am just worried that the Alienware apps for changing lighting FX, touchpad, etc wont work.

You can't use the Command Center (Except AlienFX) with Win 7. Vista SP2 is no problem though.

    Thanks for the responses.

Alien FX is the only thing I use from the command center. I dont use the touch or sense aspects at all really. Also, I had read people seemed to like the win driver for the touchpad better anyway. Looks like win7 might not be a bad option to run on! I know boot time is so much faster.
