So I received my Alienware m15x today and the first thing i did was perform a new installation of vista ultimate 64x. The installation went without a hitch and then when i started installing drivers, my backlighting for my keyboard went out. Not to mention I had some issues with the installation of some of the driver software. I then decided to install Vista Ultimate 32x. The installation acted like it was going to work, restarted then it hangs at "Completing Installation". I looked around and found the most common reason for this issue is the installation disk doesn't have the proper sata driver. So after all of that I popped in the recovery disk and I'm in the process of restoring the laptop to factory settings. I wouldn't mind this so much if it didn't come with Vista Home. Any suggestions on what I can do to get Vista Ultimate properly installed?
