This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dang! Really? So I guess the lack of acknowledgement means that everyone LIKES having to DVD installation media and no place to download a Windows 8 ISO? I'm shocked that nobody cares about the fact that Microsoft is making it extremely difficult for customers to reinstall their Windows 8 operating system.

    If you DO NOT like the goofy notion of having to live with your factory Windows OS installation forever, or having to jump through a lot of hoops and waste time hunting for installation media when you need it, please head on over to the link above and promote the idea.
