I'm sorry to hear that your new laptop is already scratched. Unfortantely, none of the Dell warranties cover costmetic damage (or any damage that doesn't prevent the normal operation of the computer). If it gets bad enough, you can always buy the panel kit and switch it out.

its only a corner for now and i do want another panel so i can strip it and get it anodized .... its on my list and near the top
