I can not for the love of god find this one in a working link anywhere online. It's been about 3 days i have been looking, but i can not find it.
Everything i do find contains dead links, including alienware's own sites.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

30 seconds of googling got me a couple of links, however, I don't know whether these sites are really trustworthy so I rather not post possibly crappy links... but it shouldn't be too hard to find it for you.

The one from the AW site doesn't work? ( Alienware: AlienGUIse Theme Manager)

That's the big problem, links enough, but none working.

Including the ones here on the forum, and the link from the alienware AlienGUIse you just gave (i managed to download GUIse in the end, which does not include the wmp12 skin, of which the link itself on the alienware site is dead).

The WMP skin is outdated and was released for their original (non-Dell) line. That being said, in addition to compatibility issues which may present themselves with W7, its probably not worth the trouble to track it down. As I recall, it generated WMP crashes with my Vista install when I tried it some time back.

I'd like to see Dell/AW release a skin along with a plugin for WMP and Winamp to take advantage of the AlienFX lighting (similar to what they used with the XPS M1710 and M1730).

Warning for those folks who like to experiment: Do not try any AlienFX plugin NOT DESIGNED specifically for use with the M11x, M15x and M17x. The AlienFX IO is picky enough and using a plugin which may or may not alter the AlienFX IO f/w is dangerous - you may end up with a bricked FX IO chip.

Point is, while youtubing there are several video's of people using that exact skin on windows 7 x64, apparantly without problems (at least not mentioned).

This is what got me curious, that and it looks so damn cool (and I don't like winamp)

At least the skins from that topic are wrong files. You get some icon pack when you download the skins.
