Does wow run better for you guys with your SLI on or off. Mine runs alot better it seems with 1 card. I have 4gigs of ram, 2 9800 GT's, and a 2.1 duo 2 processor.

Not sure about SLI but on crossfire i see 60%+ fps boost.

Just remember that WoW doesnt really support SLI or Crossfire. Of course that doesnt mean it doesnt benefit from it :p

Yeah I get more FPS with 1 card but with SLI my game doesnt bog down at all when im on my epic flyer. Seems like the graphics are better also with the 1 card it seems like I have tearing with the SLI on and my fps doesnt past 60 because I have my v-sync on. If I select let the application decide for nvidia settings then wow will crash when I try to open it also.

When I got my laptop it only came with 1 9800GT so I ordered another from alienware and installed it myself and have had problems since. Is there a driver update for the motherboards in our laptops. I think I maybe need to update my motherboard driver so it supports sli or something. Alienware has sent me a new card and still the same problems so I know my cards are good.

Yeah im using 185.20 I think for my cards. Is there a nforce chip on our motherboards that has driver that you can update. When I went to nvidia.com the first time and did analyze system it told me that I needed to update the driver on my motherboard. I think maybe alienware only give me the right stuff for a single 9800 GT config. I did notice some discoloring on the slave card where the sli cable connects. It doesnt look burnt but its definently discolored, is this normal?
