    Hello. Quick Question. Looking at some benchmark it shows that I have 1.8GB of graphics memory? It also says dedicated I have 512mb. The 512mb I understand, but where is that extra 1.2GB coming from?

    oh okay. Does that mean the card can at times have the power equal to a card with 1.8GB of memory? (Sorry if this a dumb question)

    Not really. System memory is SLOW compared to the Graphic card's onboard memory.

    But it beats loading textures straight from disk. You can think of it as a cache.
