When I got my Alienware it came with a ssd cache drive and a 5400rpm hdd. I broke the caching setup but now want to reconfigure it. From the disk config screen accessed on boot which shows my two disks, what exactly do I do? It only allows me to create raid disk or exit. Can someone explain please?

You can install IntelRST and do it from Windows all the same. You may find it easier.

or maybe just use the SSD as the OS drive and windows boots faster.....win-win!

When I was playing around with that SSD cache drive stuff I had the same problem. I fixed it by using command prompt to run diskpart and that to run the clean command on the SSD then it could be used as the cache drive.
