    Wanting to pick up package in Detroit

    I got to school in Windsor Ontario, right across from Detroit. Is there a safe place I can ship my m17x to in Detroit and pick it up myself? Im thinking that it would cost me a lot less.

    As sleey0 said. Also keep tax in mind as the tax might outweigh the shipping advantage.

    For me it was on the other end of the scale. I was in the Middle East and despite massive shipping charges I got it sent there instead of the UK, despite that I was going to the UK in just a few weeks.

    Why?

    Because despite the fact I paid about £190 shipping instead of £30, there's no tax in the Middle East so I saved over £200 without the 15% tax. :)

    Good call on doing what you did though, saved yourself a lot of cash.

    We are taxed like crazy here in canada. And now that the CAD has gone up a bit (0.92), I end up saving about $200 USD.

    If I were to ship it to canada - $3,067.49 usd
    If I were to ship it to USA - $2,805.82 usd

    So thats quite a bit. Now If anyone can help me find I place in Detroit that I can ship to and be able to pick up.
