    If i purchase a brand new(not a refurb) Alienware M15x from a retail outlet then will the warranty be counted as 1 yr from date of purchase or as 1 yr from date of manufacture

    I think you have 1 year waranty from date of purchase if you have payment receipt but you must go retail outlet.
