am having lots of issues getting the warranty properly transferred to me so I can extend the warranty with my M15x. I've tried the the global transfer link, I have provided dell a copy of my invoice from Newegg.ca with transfer information, I also tried over the phone. with still no success to get the warranty in my name.

Every time I call and give them my service tag dell tell's me I dont pass verification, I get the answer that verification is to avoid tech support to stolen laptops. I sent them my invoice many times along with tag transfer info and still get denied.

    Dells tag system is broken!

am hoping this get viewed by someone in dell to help me out.

Send us an email: AWsocialmedia at dell.com

Include my name and your service tag, that way I'll look into it right away. Also, please attach the invoice to speed up the process.

    email sent, thanks.

well it seems even Luis Pardo cant do anything to get into my name. Dell states to contact newegg about this issue and newegg is saying that I should just return it, I guess my next step is the Better business bureau.

again dell tag scheme is a horrible system .

Update: Finally dell has done right. They transferred the laptop to my name as well reset the warranty to properly justify the 1 year warranty as the laptop only came with 319 days of warranty now has 365 days.

dell corporate offices handled my case graciously, but it really shouldn't resort to a BBB file claim to get to them.
