Asus G73... It certainly looks cool. The price is right. But when its all said and done, something just feels kinda cheap about it. I'm not trying to bash, I'm just posting my opinions on it (i owned an m17x r1).

I was shocked to see one tiny fan grill at the bottom, but I'm aware of how this beast pulls air through the keyboard. I believe the prime selling point of this laptop is the ati 5870. It's one hell of a vid card. I was considering purchasing one of these g73's until i actually got a hold of one.

It just doesn't feel as solidly built. I believe at its current price, its one heck of a package, but after having owned an M17x, i'm definately going to wait for the dual 5870's. Seeing as how the single 5870 had almost similar to my dual 280 gtx ('similar' very loosely used) I'm even more stoked on the dual gpu's in the alienware.

Anybody that's owned both have any comments. I'm more or less just curious of what other owners have felt. No hate on asus, because they managed to pump out a verryyyyy solid laptop.
