Wow Im in love! the keyboard looks and is setup like my dell vostro, yet has some of the same key stroke feeling of my thinkpad. I think I have foudn the best keyboard ever! Other then that there is nothing that dissapoints me on this laptop, and I cannot believe it is mine. I have yet to do a clean install due to wanting to mess around, but I think tonight will be the night.

Congrats! I can totally agree about the keyboard. It can only be matched by the best ThinkPads but is a bit smoother and more pleasant (and I've had TPs for the past 10 years).

As for the messing with the system, you'll find many good resources here to help you out. Welcome aboard! Ahoy m8!

Here are some pics, sorry about the quality but my cell phone camera lens gets dirty too fast. The keyboard is the primary input device and very important when I make my living on a computer. I love how it has the dell layout with almost a thinkpad feel. I personally would take it over both now and Im hooked.

You can never have enough pictures of the All Powerful line. I never get tired of seeing them even though I have my own animal.

    Congrats man!

The specs are in my sig but the shortlist are 5870, 720qm, 4GB ram 500GB HDD and WUXGA screen.

Yeah I felt the same way about my dell vostro, thinkpad and now my m17x. Great rig and Ill pull an all nighter if I have to to get it up to par and setup t my liking.

And with that brutal 5870 you are rocking I expect to see some real Eyefinity pics soon, not like my hacked not-for-games water down version. Lol!

Out of curiosity, why do a clean install? My ETA is this week, so just wondering.
