Went from Phase 5, and back to 1?!

I got the tracking number like two hours ago so I throw my hat in this race.

 

My M15X also just went into phase 8 today!

phase 9 from flordia to lousiana is only 4 states so why 5 days ... any way im just happy its commin

no kiddin they wont tell e whats was wrong after 8 email to roswell and customer support .... i kinda worry about that . i send a email and told them i was gonna cancel monday if it didnt ship out and 6 hours later it shipped.....

 

I got the tracking number from DHL earlier today too, it's just not working... Or I'm too dumb to use it. Either way, I'm getting there.

 

congrats and i hope you get it and it has no squeaking... and you just click the link in the email ..should link you straight through, but they may have not updated there info on the site

 

AW prolly processed it, but DHL hasn't actually picked up the parcel. It should be up by working by tonight though.

 

UPDATE: Phase 9!

However, I have yet to receive a tracking number... ???

 

it took them a day after it shipped to send me my tracking number...it actually came from the Roswell Crew...

 

I've just found my tracking information on the Status page and it indicates an expected delivery date of Monday; yes, this monday!

I'm so stoked I'm about to explode...

Ok a couple hours after it went into phase 8 it went into phase 9!

Should be here on the 27th the tracking number says

 

Me to I wanna know why 7 shipped the same day..... Kinds strange we all ordered diff times I think AW had a problem of some sort

 

They get bulk shipments for parts on certain days of the month, I think. If all of you ordered within a certain time frame, they would have to wait until the shipment came to start building the notebook-- that is, assuming they didn't have the parts already in their inventory.

 

No mine was backorered first week of January then it built and then when back to the phase 6 then stayed 2 1/2 weeks but I guess they built it then tested it then had to wait for a new peice because the part didn't work unno so. Guess they lied oh well it's here almost

 

She just arrived today at exactly 1 hr before the est. deliver time. FedEx is great. So yeah, I'm very, very, very happy so far

To be honest with you, I don't even care about the computer, it's all about the AW hat! $2,900 well spent.

 

Duh, and my M17 has been sitting in Dublin since last Thursday. Way to go DHL.

 

fedex hasnt updated my delievery info on mine and last i heard it was in memphis TN ( last update jan 24) its saposed to be delivered tommorw. so i guess you won thimk

I actually had the same experience with FedEx. The last update was at Memphis, but I figured that it was actually already in Canada, and it was. Faulty status page, just like AW's.

You've got nothing to worry about.

Just got mine like two hours ago. The fully loaded M15X. All in all a pretty sweet laptop. The hinges do worry me as it does creak and seems a little fragile. Noise isn't too bad. Looks good. A little heavier than I though but not bad at all. Does anyone know how to make it so that all the text on the websites isn't so small because I have a 1920 by 1200 resolution on a 15.4 screen. I may come out with a longer review in a few weeks. All I know Alienware was quick because I ordered it on the 20th of Jan and it arrived on the 28th.

I ordered mine on Jan 19, but I placed two order changes on two different occasions and that delayed my m15x. Mine will arrive by Jan 31, weather permitting. The problem I just found out through Mr.Moo a few hours ago is that I am getting a 8700m gt and all this time I kept thinking it was an 8800m gtx. Well, my joy of getting my laptop very soon has turned to some depression knowing the gpu isn't the one I was thinking I had ordered.

I checked the customization page for the m15x and the 8800m gtx doesn't show up at all. If I had known I was getting the wrong gpu, I would have dumped the extras I asked for and gotten the correct gpu. Oh well, I'll have to order it later on when I can afford to get it.

 

Weee! My M17 has arrived in Helsinki, Finland. It's 5 in the morning and only 150km away. Let's see if those lazy monkeys in DHL can deliver it today. (Anyone reading this from DHL, yeah I said you were a bunch of lazy monkeys. Now gimme my computer. )

Not like I need it today though. I just hate hogging my girlfriend's HP when she needs it too... And I'd really like to play something else than minefield...

 

larn that suck the 8800gtx is really the 9800m gt same core and stuff its got a 3 -4 fps over the 8800gtx though but that sucks man ...coulda been why it was so cheap
