Hi im looking for best working drivers for borderlands as with 197 drivers seem to be a little jumpy looking at large city scape areas and was looking for input if someone knows if there is a better driver for this game.
    thank you

I play Borderlands on the machine in my sig, and have had no problem with the latest nvidia drivers, in fact performance got better with the current drivers (197.16). My fps range from 45-60 (vsync) on all high details at 1080p no AA.

Yea 16xAA is overkill IMO it will really kill performance, and is not necessary. In general on a 1080p screen AA is not necessary i think.

Dynamic shadows, and ambient occlusion are performance hitters, I turned them off and the game was silky smooth from then on, its a personal choice really to have them on with sluggish gameplay(197.31 Beta).

i like dynamic shadows (makes its believable cause without it feels so odd) with the oc i use its never below 30fps on 1080p but thats everything on but i think im going to leave occlusion off.

gtx 260m at 650/1100/1625 the whole time great booster (roughly 5-10 fps gain) oh im using the 197.45 beta driver look on page 191 of the M15x owners lounge part 4
