Faster processor and GPUs. Blinking keyboards and illuminated alien heads are neat, but without the hardware, no one cares.

TurbodTalon, I know you mean well, but as I believe most if not all of us know, that will come.

I would like a hint of blue chrome to the alienhead, maybe a choice of blue as an exterior color. A new trackpad. Maybe hard button keys instead of touch sensitive keys.

We already have the latest CPU And Screen.

    What I want:

    ATi Mobility 5xxx series card
Pci-e to support full bandwidth 16x lane on each card.
Instead of alumnium, prefer carbon chasis
Only 1 color light option (prefer led green or led white)
    Longer lasting battery
USB 3.0 (Asus got em already)
Unlock full Bios just like Desktop setup

I think thats all. :) Priorities in those order please AW.

Lights on the chassis of the laptop, more fearsome design, new nvidia GPU's without stuttering, 3-D enabled cards.

Keep it all the same, just add in a 120 hz screen option or even better, 120 hz + RGB LED. Carbon fibre is nice but its a much cheaper feeling build than aluminum. As long as the aluminum is strong enough to withstand dents in the M17x, then that's likely the best option for now. Another thing AW needs to do is perhaps change their cooling to 100% copper, no aluminum at all.

1 thing: more fair pricing for european countries. The m15x starts at 1900€ minimum here, thats just insane.

In the new M17 I'd love to see another HDD slot. The Sager has three, so I'd love to see Alienware with a three HDD setup. Over 1 GB storage with and SSD to run all programs and OS would be sweet.

That what I like on the older m17x. I could buy a hot swap hard drive. If the system was working right I was going to buy 3 of them. One setup with windows xp. 2 for backup
