What games are you currently playing on you M15x?

Im playing Grid and Farcry 2 and they run outstanding...Although not in Ultra High settings but still pretty **** good...

I highly recommend FarCry 2 if you want to see how beautiful a game can look on your M15x...

 

I know this is not graphic intensive but this will be my first choice... Halo CE (CTF - Team Slayer)

then comes... Crysis, TimeShift, Grid, AOM, Solitaire???

 

Recently finished Crysis:Warhead. Good stuff there.

other stuffs I play, mostly on steam: CS:S, Sourceforts, Synergy...

there's other stuff, I'm currently looking for a new timewaster.

as the foremost use: Lineage2
then (in no particular order): Oblivion (complete set), RC Tycoon (complete set), Warhammer Online, Assasins Creed, and a host of others i play via LAN but not often so I can not recall the names right off...oh and school....

This. I started playing CoD5 but I haven't gotten too far since I've been too busy to even play it. I won't be able to play it much during the weekend either since I'm coordinating a debate that's scheduled on Tuesday.

L4D: Maxed out 16xQ CSAA, 16xAS 1920x1200 (30-60 FPS)
GRID: 16:10 1920x1200 2xAA (Just started today)
Farcry 2: 1440x900 Very High (25-60 FPS)
Dead Space: Maxed out 1920x1200 (35-110 FPS)
Falllout 3: Haven't played in weeks. Only played for a couple hours then decided to finish all these other games first.

Wow Ennea, you sure have a lot of time on your hands! I'm almost jealous you have time to play all of those games. =P

 

I don't sleep nearly as much as I should. I get all my necessary school work done (anything less than 3.4 GPA makes me sad) but when it comes to sleep, I get like 4-5 hours when I could get like 8-10 easily. I love gaming that much it seems!

Oh, I never actually finished Spore like I finished everything else. It's just way too casual, lost interest very fast.

 

Ennea, it looks better if you put farcry2 everything high, 2xAA, and then all the textures to ultra high. Good fps + much better looking!

 

Better is subjective sometimes but I could try that regardless. Drivers matter a lot though, what drivers are you using? How's your FPS?

 

Holy ****! Ennea what a collection. All that fits in the Hard drive of your m15x?

I am using the AW drivers 168.42 or something, on XP. Everytime I run farcry I get "These drivers are too old", but it still runs.

I get approx 30-40fps all the time

 

Hey Napbree, not too sure if 168.42 is the one you're running since AW only offers 165.32 and 175.80b-- but if you're running 165.32, try using 167.43. The clocks are as they should be on XP with those drivers.

With powermizer enabled:
Normal 200/400/601.71, upclocks to 500/1250/799.20 when playing games.

With powermizer disabled:
Clocks are at 500/1250/799.20 the entire time.

yeah its RPG & FPS ,very good game ,graphics in this game is awesome.
i get 59.9~60.0 FPS without fighting.
and 35~50 when you fight enemies.
finished it in 25Hrs.

I don't want to touch Fallout just simply because of the oblivion relationship... never liked the concept of oblivion, and the constant nagging of just about every gamer I've ever known saying "play oblivion! It would look awesome on your system!" ugh. not because it's fun to play or anything... but because it's demanding and you've never been able to hit "full settings" without looking at a slide show... greaaaaat.

I think if someone actually recommended me to play it because of it's merits, I'd be more inclined to try... now I have this negative outlook on oblivion, and anything related, therefore, no Fallout. no thanks.

This is, of course, a really simplified version but whatever.

 

What resolution are you running it at 1440? How about graphics, max graphics too? I'm definitely gonna get it.

@Mystic - too bad man. Try "Left 4 Dead" I hear that it's a pretty crazy game too. That's also on my list of games to play.

 

yeah 1440. after installing the game it automatically test your system for optimal settings and it sets it to high quality.which is max graphics.

btw ,are you Roswell ? if yes please check my thread about "i found a scrape" wonder if its covered under my warranty.

I know I don't own a M15x but I've been playing Insurgency (a super realistic source mod *free!*) from time to time.

 

Those pics look good. Really realistic. Can't wait to get my hands on this game. THanks. here's some rep for that. Looks really immersive too!

 

It's actually not on max graphics. Ultra is max, which a single 8800m GTX struggles immensely under. Sure you CAN play it, but you'll get less than 30 fps, I've tried.

 

Thats correct ,i didnt know that.
i tried it today ,had to put the disc on in order to change the settings.(or the iso wateva )
but i didnt notice big difference.while it lags more.

 

Maybe if you lower the resolution a bit it'll help. Usually I don't play on Max res. I like playing in windowed mode.

 

Have you even tried on Ultra? As the previous poster mentioned and I forgot to mention, you need to put the disc in and open the settings in the autoplay to change to Ultra settings, there's no other way to tweak your graphics in FO3.


Dexxe - while I don't notice graphics changes upclose, I do notice them at a distance. The draw distance, especially in outdoors areas, is MUCH nicer. The game looks spectacular in daylight from a high vantage point (like the tower penthouse balcony).

Try blow up megaton with ultra graphics.

 

No, I don't have the game yet. That's why I'm asking how things are so that I can my decision whether to get it or not.

Dont own M15X but M17X

But I love Lord of the Rings Mines of Moria With dual 8600gt But some areas it 40fps and others it like 20fps. It blows away World of warcarft any day. The game take 12gb of space.

I hope to get higher fps with the upgrade.
