I just thought I'd make a topic here to find out what all of you are currently playing or looking forward to.

I'm currently playing a lot of harvest moon which is surprisingly addictive. I'll occasionally play mario kart wii online as well... I know they aren't PC games, but I don't have one yet... :p

I'm really looking forward to fall of cybertron. I had a bunch of the toys as a kid, loved the first two movies, and really was impressed with war for cybertron on the ps3. The more preview movies I see of multiplayer the more I drool over it. Same goes for hawken.

And before the backlight on my vaio went out my guilty pleasure was ragnarok... lol.

How about you guys? What do you play? What are you looking forward to?

BF3, Skyrim, and picked up a bunch of stuff on the Steam summer sale. Finished Force Unleashed 2 in about 2 sittings, but it was fun and cheap. On AC:Brotherhood now, then I want to start the Batman franchise, and probably come back to AC:Revelations.

    Mass Effect Series

    Anno 2070

I cannot wait for Hitman, been way too long since Blood Money. I am a huge Resident Evil fan as well so I will get RE6, I hope it is somewhat decent.....

Minecraft, TF2, AC: Brotherhood on the XBOX because I have it, and hopefully Mech Warrior Online when it launches.

I'm hoping to play AC: Revolution (AC:3) and Halo 4 when they launch before the holiday season as well.

Oh, that's right! I forgot all about Borderlands 2! My steam wishlist just keeps getting bigger and bigger. lol Darksiders 2 looks pretty cool too. Haven't played the first one yet, but it looks pretty promising. I had already played the Batman games on PS3. Very satisfying experience. I'm also looking into whether or not Oddboxx got patched. I never had the opportunity to play Psychonauts either.

Do you guys play games like AC or Batman with mouse and keyboard or do you break out a gamepad? I can't imagine playing those kinds of games with a mouse and keyboard. The first/third person shooters and RTS games make sense, but when I look at a few others on PC it just feels like a console port (which I'm sure some are unfortunately) and makes me think it would be better played as such.

I played Skyrim on PS3, but I think I want to try to sell it and get it on steam. Eventually I'll get a replacement PS3... but my girlfriend and I kept going back to Little Big Planet 2.

I just found out today that my financial aid was approved. Looks like I'll have a bit more cushion in my savings account a sooner.

I'm looking into getting BF3, but it looks so much like COD and I'm a bit burnt out on those kinds of shooters. I'll likely pick it up anyway, though. My competitive nature is compelling me to.

I also realized I still have computer games. Crysis and Dawn of War 40k among them. Not sure when or how I acquired Crysis, though... Not like my old lappy could handle it even on lowest settings. Hopefully it doesn't need a CD key.

Mostly spend my gaming time in Skyrim these days (there's a lot to do in that) since I picked it up recently at the Steam summer sale, other than that I still play Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) a lot.

Also playing a bit of Payday: The Heist.

Otherwise not much, but I do have a lot of games I'd be happy to fire up should anyone want to invite me to play.

So many games, so little time. I'm a FPS nut, and the less plot the better for my preference. I generally prefer the run-and-gun gaming and a story sometimes just gets in my way.

My current favorites are still Crysis 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Arkham City and Serious Sam 3 BFE. I also still love playing the old classics, like Quake II, III, IV, Unreal Tournament III, FarCry, Crysis. I was really enjoying Skyrim for a while, but found it too slow and just got bored with it.

I'm about to buy an Alienware m17 r4 but already have a PS3 and Xbox 360. On those at the moment I'm playing Minecraft, Battlefield 3 and FIFA 12. Can't wait to try out some of the same games on the laptop, hopefully I'll see a massive improvement in graphics :)

Hey guys. I regularly play D3 but I am going out for a 2 weeks vacation (outside US) so I wont have a regular internet connection. Can I play Steam Games offline once they are installed? I am looking at getting the Batman series. Is it offline? Thanks.

Battlefield 3 on the PC is by far a huge improvement. Alan Wake, on PC, too, is fantastic, compared to the consoles.

Anyway, if someone wanted a list of my library... (warning large, long image)

Steam requires that you log in first, but if it detects that you have no internet connection (and you have enabled it to remember your password) it will ask if you want to start in offline mode. You will have full access to your library that is already installed, but if the game itself has online-DRM you won't be able to access it.
Batman: Arkham Aslyum and Batman: Arkham City both use Games for Windows Live.

This probably belongs elsewhere, but how does steam handle clans? I can't seem to find any kind of info for FoC so it leads me to believe its game specific which makes me go all frowny-face. I like how High Moon is addressing balance issues so quickly, but clan/party support seems to be either not available or being kept secret.

If there's a good community for BF3, I'm in for sure. That's a major selling point for me.

The Alan Wake storyline has been great, and visuals are not too shabby either, if you can over look the bad kung fu movie lip sinking.

But for a PC game released 2 years after being a console release, I expected more of a PC game feel. This game is a direct port, right down to the save points. I still like and think it is a good game, but it would have been a great game had they reworked the controls to the mouse and keyboard better. I may have to dust of my controller to get the full limited game play of a console effect. :)
