    Dumb questions..

I tried to create a log on for My Hive, and find out that my comp was registered/acquired/etc. through Dell and so I was told by Alienware Cust Service to go through the support.dell.com

I'm just curious, what is My Hive? Am I missing anything? Should I feel as though I'm not as cool as the "other" kids?

MyHive is a login showing your machine, and will list your specs, its handy because it shows all the latest AW drivers (which you can use as reference to make sure you get all the latest stuff from elsewhere). If any software like Nero was with your machine; it'll also be reavailable there for download.

I could be wrong, but I believe your MyHive logins also become used for the AW support forums and other private areas.

You're getting the better service through the dell website. You're not missing out on anything.
