What is my account number for MyHive?

I apologize in advance is this is not the proper forum in which to ask this question- but what is my account number?

I'm trying to set up a log in user name and a password for Alienware's support pages (My Hive) without any success.

Apparently the account number on my packing slip for the M15x I received today is not a number that the site recognizes.

I just spent about an hour being bounced around through 6-7 different reps on the phone plus wait time. I don't think I could have been any more direct with my question, "What is my account number?" and yet no one seems to be able to understand what I'm asking.

Is there a secret to this mysterious number?

 

The Hive is for the older AW systems. The M11x, M15x, M17x - use support.dell.com. Your Dell Account# is not for the Hive.

I went through this as well - I wonder how much these phone calls cost Dell

Amusingly the Dell site won't fully recognise you either - if you submit an online support request using an Alienware service tag you'll get an email back from a Dell tech saying that they can't handle it and can't forward it to Alienware as Dell doesn't know Alienware's email address

You need to phone in instead

Looks like Dell is trying to merge Alienware support but stopped part way through the reorganization

 

i heard only good things about AW support, i wish they would continue to support the new systems as well.. What happens if you call AW support ? (1-866-287-6727)
