    What the heck with the shipping

    4th may 2009, I ordered an Alienware aurora system. Today, 11 may 2009, its still on the phase 1. And the were supposed to ship the system on the 12 may according to the estimate ship time given.

    Don't worry too much about what phase it's in since that page usually isn't accurate.

    Also, not sure which system you ordered, but in the case of the M17, it's less than $250 more than the same laptop from XoticPC. This is on a well equipped rig:

    Call them, its faster, and the phases don't mean anything since they update slow. I called for my M17 after seeing it in phase 2 for a week, and the lady said it was in phase 5. So don't worry too much, it gets there when it gets there you will be thankful they took the extra time :)

    They are supposed to ship the system by now, and its only today morning i receive an e-mail asking me to provide credit card and other information because im a international buyer... I was wondering why didnt they ask me before.

    Did they want you provide a form with photocopy of your credit card?
    they did the same thing to me, but only because my shipping address is not same with the credit card address, after I change the shipping address to my credit card address, they just gave me a phone call to identify the credit card.
