    What video card to get in m15x

    In the m15x I have the choice of getting a 512mb 240gt or a 1g 260gtx. Obviously the 260 is better but to get that I have to upgrade to the i7 instead of the i5 which is $100 more plus the extra $200 for the card.
    How much better would this combo be?

    what do you plan to use it for? and actually the 240m has 1gb video memory but is clocked lower than the 260m. in my opinion $300 is well worth the upgrade.

    Are you shure it has 1g because on the website it says 512mb or is it just a typo. I plan to use the laptop for gaming. Like left for dead 2, cod mw2,borderlands, games like that.

    The 260 is a good 50% better than the 240.

    Ok well I guess I'll have to do some haggling to get them to take the price down on the 260.

    yeah 240 is now confirmed to have 1gb memory but it has lower clocks, so not good for games but good for apps and display. but still 260 is way better.
