    Hey guys, I would just like your advise, So i want an M11x or an M13x if its ever released lol. So what do you guys think, wait for possible new releases over the next few months or buy now ?

    I dont know much about this sandy bridge stuff but do you think it will be an update to some laptops soon ?

    Personally I would think if you want an M11x get it... but make sure you haggle for an i7-640UM based system, nothing else, you will then get your best value out of it over time.

    I wouldn't expect a M11x revision anytime soon... so get it if you really want it. Maybe they'll revise the M15x in a couple of months... When the M15x was released in September 2009 it took a couple of months and then the M17x was revised too as far as I remember.

    You can always try to find a bargain on an R1 and keep that until the next one comes around...

    You certainly can... a fair price now is what more or less $650? The problem to me is the CPU, the SU7300 was already long in the tooth when the M11x-R1 appeared, now it has become a margin item.

    If you're just looking a portable gaming platform that is good for GPU bound games the R-1 is an excellent price/performance point... but if you really want to do some multitasking and more application work as an ultraportable... I think you'd want the i7 and just skip the little difference on the i5 price.
