I'm thinking about getting a M15x. But would hate it if a new one comes out in a month :(

Anoyone have an idea on when the next version is due - as I remember it the current M15x has been around for some time now ...

the only thing that might be changed on it is the graphics card otherwise their is no new tech really worth putting into it. And the m15x already got a refresh of sorts. when they add in the dual core i-processors

That depend on the company. Companys like to put the users into the Unknown... So when they release it differnt. It could be tweaks or something differnt.

It bring up cost for them and higher prices for us.

    Thanks.

They could also upgrade the graphics card - gtx 260M is not the best on the market.

Thinking about it, if they did announce something, everyone would probl. wait and sales would die until the next gen.

Well you can already stick an ATI 5870 in the laptop if your so inclined. And it works ;) That is if you don't want to wait for Dell to update it.

I'm really thinking about it, now that it's possible :D

After reading about different laptops and quality, I think Alienware is my choice. I was also looking at the new Asus G73JH, but I don't think the quality is the same.

My first gamer laptop ... my first Alienware

    Hi Doc,

Darkhan a DELL employee hinted there would be no chassis changes (for both models) until next year. Best to buy now and throw in a 5870.
