The topic title says it all.

When are they gonna launch the M17x in Europe? Cause I was checking the AW in the US and found out that for only 300 euro's or so more I could own a dual 8800m instead of a single. I know that they have problems with the delivering in the States, but come on. It bout getting time for Europe to have the M17x.

It also seems that AW doesnt realise that having euro's atm is alot better than dollars. I know it is a American company, but stil they are launching it earlier in Austarlia than Europe. Has it something to do with the different keyboards here? Cause the only countries who are using different keyboards are the French and the Germans, and we dont even like them. So let them get used to American keyboards and give us the M17x ;)

someone at the BBC just screwed up... Top gear started, then it jumped to t in the park
Turns out that T In the Park should have been on, but this is when top gear is normally on lol

On topic... I KNOW! I want one as well :/

This is what AW told me

    Thank you for contacting Alienware.

In regard to your question, there is no exact information as to when the Area-51 m17x will be released in the UK other than it will released within the next few weeks. We unfortunately have no definite information just yet regarding the approximate time frame for future availability of the Intel Montevina platform and the Nvidia 9800 video cards for our Area-51m Mobile Systems other than the fact that it is currently in the research and development stages.

Not where I am. I'm on BBC2 and it's T in the park. Although I'm in scotland... could it be different here?

EDIT: checked with the digital TV in the living room: Top gear will be on at 9:30, in about... 18 minutes. BBC 3 is currently showing Greek.

EDIT: aaaannnndddd.... it's just come on. Again.

Rrrhhrrrrr. Question is - when the m17x is available in the UK, is it -still- gonna have 8800M GTXes? Or is there a chance we'll see the 9800M GTX in it?

I believe that they have them in testing at the moment, i wouldn't be surprised to find that they can't release them until Nvidia say so or something like that...
