When will the Black M15x come out Alienware?

Ive been pushed around alot by different staff at Alienware from both Australia and International over the past 2 weeks.

**firstly they said on the 26th of june the m15x would be out in black.. then they didn't put on the Alien network

**Then they said by the end of the month that the M15x would be out in black then nothing happened..

**Now the next Alien network is delayed till august and seems to be dealing with PC hardware rather than any news of a new Black m15x.

**And then i was told by ALienware staff that they no longer had any plans to release it in black ever.. period.

**And now Armando comes onto NBR and says they do have plans but no date!!


Im at my limit linearly.. Armando convince me to wait for the black m15x or ive had enough.. its just plane cruel the Yes its coming this week.. no no its not game that you guys are playing with my atm. I need my laptop for Studies and Studio work in about 3 weeks time... please for gods sake be open about your release date so i can plan accordingly iv been waiting like 7months!.

I actually like the silver just fine (they do give you two choices already ripley or skullcap) but black would be a nice option-the m9700/9750 were sweet looking in black. Kinda would like to see them do something special with the skullcaps (illuminate? Black like the old ones?)

It'd be nice to have more color choices than even black actually, always like alienware's in blue!

You're right Heath, They should have said nothing at all about a black m15x from the beginning. Or said that it would be available in month x of 2008 and ACTUALLY MAKE IT AVAILABLE.

I mean you announce a new product, fine. And then you take over 7 months to actually release it? If they said it would take this long, nobody would have been worked up about it.

Cause, you don't care if they say: August 2008. As long as you can expect the laptop to be available in August and not "In the next few weeks".

Smells like awkward marketing to me.

 

i Agree they shouldn't have all said anything until it was actually going to happen and they were actually working on it. But still as said the silver isn't bad i find it very Sleek and Beautiful! xD

 

I find black to be very appealing. But silver looks oh so smooth.

 

i have a macbookpro in the house just dont want another silver notebook..

but seriously for the past month or so they have been saying its going to be out by the end of the week... (or close enugh to that).... its getting on my nervs as clearly its close..... how close i just dont know

 

the only way I'd want to switch from silver to black is if the black paint is matte. I'm not big on the glossy finish.

 

same here. the matte m9750 is a stunner, but the press shots of the the black glossy m15x... not so sure.

 

Well I assumed that since the m17x came out in matte that the m15x would as well..
Hmm I wonder if they were originally going to come out with Glossy Black on the m15x but got bad feedback and switched over to Matte Black - and then that gave problems with the lightpipe around the screen.. Would that take 6 months to fix though..? Beats me

I think it is pretty strange that they canceled the AW network about CS. So they are just going to ignore their customers on how bad SOME of their CS is?

 

i dont think they will cancel it after announcing it. im guessing they just delayed the video. maybe it can be a double episode special on august or something.

the roswell department in my opinion is great cs. i dont know about the other departments but roswell is one of the best CS i ever spoken to.
