    Hello folks. I am likely going to purchase M18xR2 that only packs CPU and would like to know where I can find 7970M upgrade kit OR just 7970M.

    How much does it normally go for, and where can I find it? Do resellers/retailers sell it separately? Do they sell it in Canada? Will the price drop if I wait until 8000M release?

    you can try eurocomm through ebay, but its not gonna be cheap like ($500 or more). Why not just buy one at the time you buy the machine? it will be much much cheaper that way.

    Usually Dell are quite happy to sell you compatible parts and the prices for AMD cards at least tend to be reasonable.
