Can't you order through Dell and get them to give you a better price? I always can get stuff cheaper by asking from them. Just checking

    This.

The trick is to take all of the advice from that thread and throw everything you've got at different sales reps until you end up with a sizable discount. Eventually you'll get a nice sales rep who will cave in to your haggling. All you need is some patience and maybe a couple/few days of calling different reps.

Also make sure to make an online account, apply all the coupon codes that you can to your configuration, add it to your cart (but don't check out), and start making calls to different reps. This way, the reps can pull up your cart information and more than likely offer you a price that's even lower than the discounted price in your cart.

I believe so, but that's not where you'll be getting the majority of your discounts from. That's just to lower the price a bit so the reps have somewhere to start off with. In the end, your rep will be able to give you discounts that no coupon out there can.
