    Hello guys,

does anyone know where someone can buy the Dell 5870s for the M17X? Preferably with international shipping. I know babyhemi sells 5870s but they are for Clevo and they dont have CF connector. Thus it seems Dell 5870s have specific vbios (maybe ID too) on them.

    Any help would be appreciated

Maybe someone can help you out with how to order them from the UK, (part number, cost, telephone number for sales rep, etc) with a UK home address or if they can ship it somewhere else

any third party company would be appreciated because not all of us need heatsinks (upgrade from 4870s)

Otherwise an advice for UK Dell or the way we must follow for every countrys Dell is ok. according to the info i have the gpus can only be ordered from techniqal team which means if you have issues with your gpus. and if you have 4870s they sent you 4870s not 5870s.

I am quite sure that after a while, when they will be official out, you will be able to order them from a sales rep even from UK.

Don't count on them being available just yet. Might take a while.

A very "reliable" source said that CF 5870s aren't compatible with the m17x.

it wasnt him telling this. it was from deep dell. he read it while i was talking to him. this was the report from them (not him) cancelling the order with dual 5870s. incompatibility means many things from hardware to software.

    on topic please.
