If it's compatible with DDR2 RAM and you're looking for something cheap, I have 2x1GB of PC2-5300 floating around that I'll get rid of for $15 if you like.

(Am I allowed to offer that or is that restricted to the BST forum? May the Mods help me.)

while the $15 cost is great all your really offering in difference is 1G.
(and i think they would have removed your offer pretty fast if it was restricted.)

to the OP. i have OCZ in my unit. I got both OCZ and GSkill. I put the OCZ in as primary and GSkill as back up. (its a military thing to have backups to backups).

others have used Kingston, OCZ, GSkill, Corsair, and the list goes on.

do a search about memory and you will find several interesting posts that may help guide your decision.

    GL. :)

linky for Memory search here for you.

a friend of mine used OCZ as well, G.Skill has been a pretty popular choice, along with the usuals... Corsair, Crucial, Kingston...

pretty much everything is good. I'm also fairly certain AW has put out a list for the m15x of "approved" modules... though, it doesn't really count for much.

I dont know if its true or not, but someone told me that if you change your ram, then it will effect your sleep mode and stealth mode by not working or not turning on...

get whatever is cheapest and matches the specs - SO-DIMM DDR3 PC5300 667mhz RAM.

also, learn to use the search function. there have been countless threads about this.

Corsair tends to be pricey but its good, crucial good as well. Kingston you can pick up in any Best Buy or Staples.

BTW Corsair has has a great search tool, you can research all their stuff by what you are looking for and then take that info to compare with the other manufacturers.

Using G Skill from Newegg (2x2GB...bought before the 4GB sticks were available). Works great so far.

I went for the cheapest (or near) in this case corsair which is quite good. I believe it was 80 bucks for all 4 gigs shipped.
