Intel is generally considered the top (or near the top) contender in almost all fields of the SSD industry, so its a pretty safe bet.

On the other hand the New generation of OCZ drives are pretty nice, though i have yet to use them personally. (that will be remedied soon i hope) They seem to be amazingly fast and responsive.

did you get alienware delivered? ... You can buy any of these.. they both are very quite nice... OCZ have there new vertex 2 out with Sandforce controller.... its is faster than Intel 160gb g2 but Intel g2 wins in 4k random reads which makes your laptop more snappier... Its not that much of a difference unless you do video encoding or something similar in that case OCZ vertex 2 takes over because of higher write speeds...

I would go for Intel 160gb G2 ... more bang for the buck but thats just me.... Even OCZ Vertex 2 are quite nice and have performance gains over intel g2 but it comes with higher price as well...
